Special Report: The End of OZ
Since this article was published there have been many follow on articles and other theories developed as to the meaning of the story but the monetary symbolism lives on in the hearts of millions of gold bugs and hard-money advocates around the world. The following is my interpretation of the characters and plot of the original OZ story drawing mostly from the original Littlefield article but also others that have been published.
